Post title: Reactive Team Coordinator

A full time position(s) is available in the Operational Department (Reactive Team). This is a fast paced and dynamic work environment.  The role will require excellent interpersonal skills as a key aspect of the post will be communicating with our road management operatives, receiving information and inputting data into our bespoke recording systems.

A key requirement of the role is the ability to work not only on defined tasks but also able to exercise personal initiative, meeting consistently prescribed deadlines and working effectively within a team environment, in addition you will also be required to communicate clearly and proactively with our customers.

The successful applicant must have highly effective IT skills with an operational knowledge of all Microsoft office packages. Ideally experience in a traffic management role would be desirable however this is not a pre-requisite as we will consider applicants with relevant cross transferrable skills.

We are seeking applicants who are able to evidence that they have highly effective organisational skills and crucially are able to translate those skills to the specific requirements of this post.

We will discuss at interview the specific work pattern in line with our rolling rota and we are seeking applicants that understand the nature of the work we do and the requirement to be able to meet the flexibility of this post.

The salary band for this post will be £8,424 to £23,000, progress within your salary band is linked to bi annual performance review and there will be a potential opportunity to enhance your salary linked to our company bonus scheme which is annually reviewed in line with our business plan. Starting salary will be contingent on your previous cross transferrable skills and abilities.

Annual Holiday entitlement is 28 days inclusive of bank holidays.

Operatives who undertake additional sector qualifications will be rewarded via enhanced hourly rates of pay. £107.50-£145.00 per shift, depending on qualification’s (London Rate)

£100.00-£140.00 per shift, depending on qualification’s (UK Wide Rate)
