ABP Humber Coastal Half Marathon
Just a quick note about your member of staff yesterday: As he was lifting the closure, we were paged for rescue. As I ran past I let him know, we were about to launch, that vehicles might approach at speed.
He moved his vehicle to reinforce the closure, and kept the entire stretch of road between the station and the slipway clear of traffic and safe for us to operate in, while we launched to an injured sailor.
He didn’t need to do any of that, and it was a real help so well done!
