Prudential RideLondon 2020

This weekend should have marked the eighth edition of the Prudential RideLondon however back in May the event organisers had to unfortunately succumb, along with many many others, to the infamous Covid-19 pandemic.

This fantastic festival of cycling, which is organised by the same team as the London Marathon, consists of a variety of events over the weekend. RTS have provided traffic management each and every year since the inaugural event in 2013, and has become a summer highlight for many of the team. From senior roles within the event control room at the famed TfL headquarters in Palestra, to physically installing the road closures themselves, RTS play an integral part in the planning and delivery of this remarkable event.

It’s always an honour to take part in an industry leading event such as the Prudential RideLondon and look forward to planning for 2021!
