People are a large part of what we do here at Road Traffic Solutions. Through 2020 we wanted to take the time to introduce some of them to you in, what has become, a regular Meet The Team series.
Introducing: Carol Wilson
Position within Road Traffic Solutions: Planning Co-ordinator
Length of time with Road Traffic Solutions: 4 years
What do you do on a day-to-day basis within your job?
Send quotes for traffic management to the customers, plan the traffic management which is required and book in the jobs, apply to the council for permissions for the traffic management, deal with customer enquiries and invoice the works when they are completed.
What do you like about working at Road Traffic Solutions?
The people and the nature of the work. I enjoy the variation of the work, it is sometimes challenging and there is something different to do every day.
What are the values that drive you?
Honesty & Empathy.
What is your favourite quote?
“It’s swings and roundabouts” – Patrick R. Chalmers.
What is your favourite song, film or book and why?
The Shawshank Redemption – I like the film because he knows he’s innocent and he just keeps fighting for what he believes in, he doesn’t give up.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not at work?
Spending time with friends, family and my grandchildren.

I was born in Scotland but then I tell people I’m Scottish anyway 😊
