Leyton Cross Road Project – Smart Mobility Solutions!

From October 21st to 24th, Road Traffic Solutions successfully managed a three-way temporary traffic light system at Leyton Cross Road in Dartford on behalf of UK Power Networks. This project showcased our innovative approach to smart mobility, utilising dynamic social media campaigns to keep all stakeholders informed about accessibility and potential disruptions around the site.
By integrating live traffic data and Sat Nav modifications, we minimised congestion and ensured smooth traffic flow throughout the roadworks. Our social media updates, including countdowns to the project’s completion, further enhanced public engagement and transparency.
Key results from the project include:
- A campaign reach of over 57,000 people and 233,000 impressions.
- Average delays of just 0.03 minutes during the works.
- Positive public feedback, including:

“Longer timings on the main road compared to the side road was a brilliant idea, keep up the good work.”
